Is It Weather or Is It Climate Change
I have been deeply concerned about climate change since the mid-80s, when I saw David Suzuki speak at Ontario Science Centre. He warned that we had three decades to turn things around. If his advice had been heeded, the world wouldn't be in the dire situation it is now—with our children (and all our descendants) facing down a radically changed, inhospitable climate.
This book does a great job of making sense of the new climate. I tapped friend and collegue Nick Craine to illustrate this image-rich book. Since the author, Rachel Salt, is a University of Guelph prof, this book uses the talents of three Guelphites!
