I designed the poster on the first year that the new logo was introduced.
Knights Fest
Guelph Youth Music Centre hired me to design a logo for their annual family-friendly medieval festival.
I created a simple, iconic design hinging on the off-kilter smile. No weaponry is shown.
The wordmark is set in Ransite Medieval, a modern blackletter font. Many blackletters are not very readable by modern eyes—or, worse, evoke heavy metal or extreme rightwing politics. Ransite has a friendly, timeless feel.
